This image shows the ‘barrier’ in Israel around a Palestinian territory outside Jerusalem. During a recent trip to Israel we were surprised to see how much of the ‘barrier’ is in place.

Is it fair or even legal? No. Would I put it up if I had to decide? Yes. Would you? If Israel can’t prevent terrorism with one of the finest militaries in the world, ultra-invasive surveillance, in a small geographic area, AND by using concrete walls ... what will we in the west do should terrorism arrive full force.
