Hm, i like the image and the comparison... although I'm not sure this (type of) individual is necessarily enjoying or aware of his freedom. It gets into another discussion entirely, but the less-fortunate live everywhere, in every time, in and out of war-torn streets. They are victims of unjust conditions, and the freedom we enjoy in this country does not preclude suffering and privation at the personal level. Unfortunately, our brand of freedom sometimes pays less heed to these folk than do certain, even less 'free' forms of government.
