In the chaos of the convention I was gulped up and almost swallowed. There was no way out, I was surrounded by barricades, police and protesters. The streets were shut down, locked tight, all I could do is go with the flow. At the point of this photo I had been swept up and away with the Blank Panthers. All I could do was follow along and look for an out.

By the time the day was over I had marched with everyone, from the Dykes Against Bush to the Jews for Jesus.
